The Best Birthday Ever
Arrive 15 minutes before your start time. Everything else is handled by your host.
Check in at base camp, complete liability waivers, and meet your marshals. Arriving 15 minutes early keeps everything on schedule and stress-free.
Every player gets fitted with a tagger and sensor headband. Your marshal runs a full safety briefing covering how the equipment works, the rules of play, and mission objectives. Quick, clear, and gets the kids pumped up.
Into the 2-acre bushland arena for four 10-minute missions of Team Deathmatch. After each game, both teams are brought together for a debrief — your marshal walks everyone through their individual stats and compares scores to declare the winner before the next mission begins.
Enjoy 30 minutes in our shared celebration zone, break out the cake, hand out the Birthday VIP certificate, and relive the best moments from the field. Want to level it up? Fire up the BBQ or let us take care of the catering for you.

Common Questions
All events are supervised by Working With Children cleared staff. Marshals are present throughout gameplay and in the celebration zone. For groups with children 8 and under, parents or guardians must participate in gameplay (and it’s genuinely good fun for the adults too).
Our recommended minimum age to play is 7–8 years. Younger children can play if they are accompanied by a participating (paying) parent or guardian and can comfortably hold and operate a laser tagger. We have had kids as young as 4, 5, and 6 years join in and have a great time — but active adult supervision is required for all children under 7.
Enclosed footwear (sneakers or boots) and a hat are mandatory — the sensor headband goes on over the hat. Comfortable clothes you don’t mind getting dirty are ideal. No high heels or thongs.
We ask all players to arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled start time. Out of respect for all players, late arrivals are not waited for and will miss the portion of the event already underway. Please plan travel time carefully.
Yes, BYO food and cake are welcome in the celebration zone. Tables and chairs are provided. You can also bring decorations. No alcohol on-site during events. Optional BBQ hire is available for $20; just ask when you book.
Battlezone operates in light rain. A bit of weather is part of the outdoor adventure. If severe weather, lightning, or dangerous conditions are forecast, we will contact you directly to reschedule at no charge.
